Where are you located?

We are located at 10294 Shelbyville Road, three-quarters (.73) of a mile east of Hurstbourne - before you reach Blankenbaker, in Dorsey Plaza between Curves & Ultra-Tan.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express

Do I need to make an appointment or can I just walk-in?

We recommend making an appointment, especially for Friday or Saturday.  Otherwise, we can usually fit you in during the week.

How far in advance do I need to book my appointment?

A couple of weeks is recommended, but we do ask for a 24-hour cancellation notice.

Do you take Spa Finder & Spa Wish certificates?

Yes we do.

Do you offer specials & loyalty rewards programs?

Yes, we have a variety of specials on the what's new page of this web site, and suggest signing up for our e-mail news so you can receive our weekly specials as well.  Our loyal clients receive a variety of benefits such as priority reservations, 20% off discounts during their birthday month, advanced notice on specials and presents and product give-aways.

Do you do acrylic nails and fill-ins?

We only treat natural nails.

What is the difference between a mini pedicure, a pedicure and a spa pedicure?

A mini-pedicure basically gets your feet in shape for sandals. We trim the nails, exfoliate the foot, treat the cuticles and polish the nails. A pedicure includes the above listed services as well as an exfoliating mask for the foot and a massage. The spa pedicure includes the above listed services as well as a dip in paraffin.

What is the difference between a manicure and spa manicure?

We offer a luxurious, moisturizing paraffin treatment with our Spa Manicure .

Do you charge extra for French polish?

Yes. French Polish is an additional $3.

Is a pedicure safe for someone with diabetes?

Yes.

Should I come in wearing sandals for a pedicure?

Yes- we recommend flip flops, if possible.

Do you do wedding parties?

We are equipped to comfortably service up to 4 people at the same time.

Do you charge less if I don't have a lot of hair to cut?

No. Unless you are receiving a Bang Trim.

Do I need to shampoo my hair before coming in for an updo?

We recommend washing your hair the day before. This will allow your hair better hold and the texture is easier to work with.

What is the difference between a halo highlight and a partial?

A halo highlight just covers a few selected hairs that frame the face from forehead to a quarter of the way back from the scalp. Partial highlights are more complete in covering the hair from forehead to mid scalp.

Are there age restrictions for different services like massage and facial?

We do require parental consent if the client is under the age of 18 and receiving a massage, waxing or facial.

How long does my hair need to be for body wax services?

We recommend at least a quarter of an inch.

Is there anything specific I need to do before I come in for a massage, body treatment or facial?

We recommend avoiding sun exposure for 24 hours before your service.

Do you offer couples massage?

We can accomodate two people at the same time, in different rooms. We are not equipped to provide two massages, at the same time, in the same room.

What's the difference between a Tranquility Treatment and the Signature Organic Facial besides the time?

Besides the Tranquility Treatment being a half hour longer, it also includes a scalp, foot and hand massage as well as hand warmers.  Please see left side of facial page for specific details on each of our facials.

What is a Target Area massage?

A specific massage designed to treat individual muscle groups.

Do you offer weight loss wraps?

No, we have found that they only temporarily reduce the amount of fluids in the body, and can leave a person severly dehydrated.

May I go to the tanning bed right before waxing or after?

No- we strongly advise against this. We recommend waiting at least 2 days before or after tanning.

Can I take any pain relieve meds before waxing, and if so, how long before should I take them?

Absolutely! Two ibuprofen twenty minutes before a wax cuts the pain in half!
