1. What should the length of the hair be for body waxing?
At least a quarter of an inch
2. Can I Tan?
You should not tan 24 hours before a waxing appointment and you should wait at least 48 hours after a waxing appointment before tanning again.
3. How do I prepare for a Brazilian Wax?
You should trim the hair beforehand so it is a quarter of an inch in length.
4. Should I wax if I am taking certain medications?
Retin-A, Retinol, Accutane, etc. may make the skin more sensitive and we suggest avoid waxing.
5. Do I need to do anything special before/after a waxing appointment?
Before a waxing appointment it is recommended that you shower so that your skin is clean and free of excess oils. After a waxing you should not exfoliate for at least 24-48 hours as your skin may be slightly sensitive. After a bikini or brazilian wax for comfort it is recommended that you wear cotten underwear to prevent chaffing.
6. What do I do if I have some irritation after my waxing appointment?
If the area is irritated you can apply a cold wash cloth until the irritation subsides.
7. Is waxing painful?
Waxing can be a little unpleasant. However; our estheticians are highly trained in making your waxing service as quick and painless as possible.
